To help New Zealand cities truly embrace smart city living, we recognised there needed to be massive improvements in our road traffic management systems. Kiwis all over the country—particularly in our larger cities—deal with traffic congestion and lengthy travel times on a daily basis. As urban sprawl continues to grow, so too does the number of vehicles on our roads.
Our SmartTrack solution was created to address and overcome this issue and improve our traffic operating systems. Not only does SmartTrack improve wait times, traffic flow and safety on the roads, but it also contributes to infrastructure improvements, energy efficiency, and enables sustainable city planning. SmartTrack is the way of the future for road users and for the inhabitants of New Zealand’s smart cities.
